a) Study objective Adept of the Fellowship of Isis
This study contains 4 degrees on the Spiral of the Adepti. Courses are done one after the other, finishing with the Initiate Drama. After 4 Initiate Levels have been achieved, initiaton as an Adept is possible.
b) Study objective Priest/ess of the Fellowship of Isis
3 courses basic education in ritual techniques, divination and visual magic (similar as the education at the Medusa Iseum was in the past). For final priesthood ordination the vocation by a deity is essential.
c) Study objective Hierophant of the Fellowship of Isis
This study contains 4 degrees on the Spiral of the Magi. Courses are done one after the other, finishing with the Mystery Drama.
Requirement for consecration as Hierophant:
i) Candidate already is a Priest/ess of the Fellowship of Isis, and
ii) vocation by a deity to become Hierophant and found an own Lyceum.
Of course it is also possible to choose only degrees on the Spirals without becoming Adept, Priest/ess or Hierophant.
Candidates who got degrees from other centers of the Fellowship of Isis may continue their studies at the Lyceum of the Protecting Shield. Acknowledgement of former degrees is clarified in personal exchange for each individual case.
Requirements for study at the Lyceum of the Protecting Shield:
1) FOI membership
To get membership in the Fellowship of Isis is easy. Essentially a candidate has to agree with the Manifesto of the FOI. Other religious allegiances may be maintained. There are no vows required or commitments to secrecy. Membership is free and members are free to resign without question.

2) Interest in Science
A certain general education and interest in at least one science is requested at the Lyceum of the Protecting Shield. You don't need to have done an university study but occasinally reading and understanding popular science articles is desirable. Example: you know Earth is not a disk and the Moon doesn't consist of cheese but both together orbit the Sun. And you know all matter in our world consist of atoms which have organized in molecules.
3) Ability to write an Essay
The Lyceum of the Protecting Shield is mainly focused on an academic style of work. Means, students must be able to do a literature/internet recherche about a certain question. They also must be able to interpret the sources they found and write a multi-page essay about it using the material they found, with giving references.
Obligatory is a certain appearance of the essay. One-liners like "The Goddess said it's okay" or walls of text without any punctuation will not be accepted.
4) (Visual) Imagination
Visual is in brackets here since imagination most of the time but not always is done in inner pictures. Students who have an art hobby usually fulfil this requirement. Who designs a painting and paints it has an imagination of it before start (which is not valid if just doing "paint by numbers"!). Also for musicans this holds - composition of a song supposes to have acoustic imagination of it before. Just playing notes from a sheet does not.
